Blackmagic Design URSA Broadcast G2 è una videocamera versatile per il broadcast tradizionale e la trasmissione online. Il sensore 6K offre una risoluzione di 6144 x 3456 pixel, elevata qualità d'immagine e ampia gamma dinamica. Sono disponibili attacchi per obiettivi B4, Canon EF e PL (Positive Lock, sviluppato da ARRI), così è possibile scegliere l'ottica più adatta. La videocamera può operare come modello di produzione 4K, videocamera da studio 4K oppure videocamera digitale 6K, per applicazioni di broadcast, produzione video, truppe ENG e digital film.
URSA Broadcast G2 registra in H.265, ProRes e Blackmagic RAW, su schede SD, UHS-II, CFast 2.0 o dischi USB esterni. Il touchscreen LCD capacitivo da 4" permette controllo e monitoraggio; la ruota con filtri ND integrati offre quattro posizioni: chiaro, 2 stop, 4 stop e 6 stop. Il doppio ISO nativo arriva a 36 dB di guadagno per prestazioni efficaci in condizioni di scarsa illuminazione. La connettività comprende 12G-SDI IN/OUT, ingressi e uscite XLR per l'audio, una porta USB-C per la registrazione esterna e una porta USB-C per l'aggiornamento software. Il controllo remoto tramite Blackmagic Control Protocol consente inoltre l'integrazione negli ambienti di produzione live.
